Have a Great Christmas Folks (And Pray That My Cake Works Out Well For Me)

How are all of you, my dear coveted readers?

I don’t quite feel much like a traveler today. The festivities have got their clutches around me and I am more than happy to spread out and soak in all the holiday coziness and warmth in the comfort of my home. I’m Garfield zoned.

The only mega event planned for the day is a stoner’s attempt at making a decent chocolate cake at home. I shall, in some time, walk out from the crazy alleys of Chirag Delhi and trudge along the always dusty road to Savitri Nagar (just a kilometer away), in South Delhi. That’s my den.

In Savitri Nagar I shall find wonderland (otherwise called Reliance Fresh – a supermarket) and from there I will pack up all the goodies I need to create the sweet gooey cake that I really hope would look something like this.

Ambitious much? Let’s see

I know. This is going to be the best Christmas ever. I intend to follow this recipe. Thought I’ll share it here, in case some of you might want to do their own baking today.

Well, that’s my Christmas plan, people. What about you? How are you making this weekend special? Catching up with friends? Partying all night long? Or are you leaving it to chance? Waiting to see what the evening brings to you? What ever it is do share. I’m waiting to be inspired.

Hanging out with my Bengali friends on the beach at Puri. Hope you have a great Christmas and best wishes for the cake. Even if it doesn’t work out perfectly, it’s still cake!-)
